IDEAL AGES FOR BABIES TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED

• Newborn, up to 2-weeks old. This stage is adorable because the babies are so tiny, so delicate and so irresistible.

• When the baby can sit up unassisted, 6 to 8 months. Before then, posing options are limited. Sitting babies tend to be more alert and engaging.

• When the child can stand or walk but not run, 10 to14 months. When babies can stand, even just by holding onto furniture, they are bright-eyed and excited, yet still manageable because they aren’t too mobile yet.

Lucy and Ben were probably the most outwardly estatic wedding couple I have met so far. They enjoyed their wedding day so much and were constantly smiling and laughing! I spent the morning with the girls and even then, Lucy merrily got ready. You were a wonderful couple to photograph, I thoroughly enjoyed the day too and went home smiling.

I Loved the colours at Catherine and Simon's wedding, they were so soft in a vintage kind of way, it really suited Catherine who looked like a Hollywood Movie Star. The venue is also one of my favorites.

Caroline & John's Wedding Day

Its the start of lovely wedding weather I hope and it definitely did not let me down today. It was an extra special wedding for me as Caroline is a childhood friend of mine and even though we had not seen each other for years, it felt like it was only yesterday we were running around in the garden together! Caroline and John make a perfect couple and their wedding was an eclectic mix of lots of different cultures, which worked so well together.

It was really quite emotional for everyone during the speeches to hear how well loved they are. You're pretty good at modeling too guys!

Easter Monday at the beach

Happy Easter! I spent the day at the beach with Hubby, Snoopy the dog and my sister plus family visiting my dad. It was chilly but sunny day so Snoopy got a good walk, it was his first time at the sea.

Lisa & Phil's wedding photography at The Tudor Barn

My second wedding of the year was with the lovely Lisa and Phil at a beautiful barn called The Tudor Barn near Windsor. We were lucky with the weather as even though there was some rain the sun shone at all the right moments! Lisa looked stunning, I'm really happy with my getting ready shots of her in the morning. I also captured some beautiful pictures of them together, they look so happy together don't you think? Here are a few of my favourites so far, I might post a few more, there are lots I like and I can't decide!

We used Izabela for our wedding back in October and looking back on it I'm so glad we did! Izabela was absolutely fab and turned us from a shy shuffling couple into a triumph on the dance floor! All our guests thought it was great too and really enjoyed the show we put on. What was great about the routine Izabela taught us was that we looked like we were having fun, rather than looking embarrassed and wishing it was over. Thank you Izabela!

On Sunday I met up with a great couple, Helen and Richard for their pre wedding shoot at Great Fosters. We were all wrapped up warmly so we braved the elements to explore the hotels extensive grounds. They were very natural in front of the camera and quickly became relaxed with me which was great! I've captured some lovely moments between them....

On Friday I photographed the lovely Emma and Dan's big day. It was an emotional ceremony (a few tears were shed) although the couple continued to grin at each other throughout the service. It was my first wedding job after my wedding a month ago, so it was quite special for me as it reminded me of the excitement of walking down the aisle. After the ceremony we headed up to box hill and although the weather was pretty bad we still captured some lovely moments. (Well done you two for being so brave, surprisingly you don't look cold at all!) Back at The Burford Bridge the venue was filled with fairy lights, very cozy. Here are a few of my favourites.....

It was a perfect day and I am sooo excited about venturing into married life with my new wonderful husband. I had a fantastic day with Helene and Senan! Though we had showers for most of the day, we embraced the rain and got some fabulous shots. This wedding shows that no matter what the weather does you can still get some great wedding photography. You just have to work a bit harder to find places to shelter under and also don't forget the white umbrellas. Pre-wedding chats and visiting the venue are also very important. We couldn't have asked for a better day for Simon & Zoe's wedding, it was perfect. Set in the rolling views of box hill, Simon and Zoe were such good fun to photograph as they were so chilled out! Zoe even changed into her 'bridal converse trainers' half way through the day and I must say they really suited her! Simon has to win the prize so far this year for the best grin! Flora and Fauna at Wisley

Wedding ceremony at St Margaret’s RC Church and reception at The Oaks Golf Course

Hello sunshine!!

We had a few showers early in the morning but then it turned into a glorious day for wedding photography. It was all very relaxed with the girls in the morning, even the cat was sunbathing!

By the end of the day we got some beautiful couple photographs as Penny and Peter photographed so well together. The key is to concentrate on each other and try not to be to aware of what is going on around you including the camera.

Leatherhead register office then back to Stanhill Court Hotel for the reception.

What a beautiful and emotional day, everyone was so happy it almost brought a tear to my eye! Leatherhead register office has stunning grounds overlooking the rolling hills of Surrey, perfect for starting the group photographs if the weather is starting to look a bit dodgy (which it was!)
